Bespoke profiling, targeting and distribution

The Brief

 As part of a project for Highways England, the team at DBS Marketing were asked to deliver compulsory purchase orders to 34 private and confidential addressees throughout the UK. The project involved bespoke profiling and targeting and due to legal requirements, all deliveries had to be completed on a specific date to all addresses. All address data was to be supplied by the land registry.

The Solution

Using our experience we put together a bespoke profiling and targeting solution for Mott Macdonald. This involved finding up to date details for 34 addressees using data from the land registry and other sources. Once we had all the relevant information to hand we organised the collection of the compulsory purchase orders from the client.

Each of the orders was contained within an A4 pack with up to 10 pages of information and required delivery up and down the country on a nominated delivery date. There was also a requirement to guarantee proof of delivery and or photographic evidence of the delivery taking place. This was a complex distribution and targeting project with the need to coordinate deliveries throughout the UK all on a specific date.

The Results

Our team kept the client up to date with the progress of the deliveries throughout the day and also advised on any issues on point of delivery. By keeping in contact with the client and advising of any issues while on site we were able to ensure that the client was able to make a decision on the most suitable outcome.
